From the 7th to the 12th of July 2025, gardens
across County Leitrim will come alive with colour, creativity, and community
spirit as Leitrim Community Garden Week returns for a week-long celebration of
local growing, sustainability, and shared learning.
Co-ordinated and funded by Leitrim Development Company’s
Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) the week will
feature open days, hands-on workshops, and expert talks taking place daily in
community gardens across the county.
Each of these gardens are a part of Leitrim Community
Garden Network - a network of community gardens groups that come together to share
their experience and knowledge, and to work together to address common issues
and achieve shared goals.

So whether you're a seasoned grower, a curious
newcomer, or simply looking for ways to learn about gardening and connect with
your community, there’s something for everyone in this year’s programme.
